Ayşen is a registered trademark and patent attorney before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office and has been practicing in this field since 2005.
She has advised a diverse range of multinational and local clients on all aspects of IP portfolio management and prosecution, including availability and clearance searches, as well as trademark, design, and patent applications. She has handled numerous administrative oppositions, appeals and responses to oppositions and office actions. Her expertise also extends to settlement negotiations, transactions, and maintenance.
With extensive experience across various industries, she has represented clients in sectors such as electronics, video games, finance, fashion, cosmetics, consumer goods, automotive, food and beverage, textile, hotel, pharmaceuticals, and nutrition.
She has regularly attended the annual meetings of the INTA (International Trademark Association) since 2008, and MARQUES Annual Conferences since 2021. She is a member of INTA Famous and Well-Known Marks Committee, where she leads the Genericide Subcommittee. Additionally, she served as the Secretary General of Turkish National Group of FICPI (International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys) from 2017 to 2021.
